Shame On Us!!!
According to Bodhidharma, “All know the way; few actually walk it”.
As rational human beings as we are, we all know what is the right way but the opposite is what we actually walk. The question is why? Even if we do not have knowledge about a situation, God in his own wisdom speaks to our hearts and our minds every now then.
You are aware that, the woman or man is married but you keep forcing him or her into going to bed with you. And even if she is not married, your religious values (i mean your church rules) forbids it. We do this and many other atrocities knowing very well we are not on the right way.
Does our minds set us right? where has our consciousness vanished to?
In my single opinion, other religious bodies who believes in marrying more than one has not committed any crime or sin and even if they sin by marrying more than one, they don’t go for other peoples’ spouses. However, people whose religious values frown on marrying more than one wives are those who in most cases are caught in these act.
I dare say! But if it is possible, leaders of the various religious bodies should reconsider the decision of marrying only one and thereafter chasing peoples’ wives and unmarried women.
We cannot be right and wrong on a matter in issue at the same time. Whatever we do is either of the two.
If you think marrying two or three wives (i mean those you can actually take care of) is what would take your mind of peoples’ wives, please “do the do”
Donewell insurance company put it nicely as its slogan; they says ‘If it must be done, it must be done well’
You find a well meaning person having acquired or been exposed to “what is right” (i.e per his/her belief); before Jehovah and before mankind; but still keep appreciating the same old wrong things.
I like a song by Maurice Baby Face(a Ghanaian artist) and it goes like this ”…shame on me, shame on you; Shame on everybody, who knows the right thing but does the wrong”
Shame on all those who knows the right thing but does the wrong!
