RESPONSIBILITIES:   

  • Comply with relevant legislation e.g KYC, banking code service standards, fraud prevention and money laundering procedures
  • Undertaking end to end teller duties as well as managing timely cash evacuations and balancing of till as well as making call backs.
  • Delivering world class customer service practices and ensure adherence to Barclays Service standards
  • Advising customers and cross selling of banks products such as banc assurance, motor insurance, account opening packages and loans
  • Writing and capturing of drafts, counter cheques and passing of entries for bank charges
  • Action any complaints received in accordance with procedures i.e own and resolve those within my control and escalate those above me to the appropriate departments
  • Handling customers requests such as statements, amendments of information on clients accounts, treasury bills, counter cheques and account opening
  • Attending to customer enquiries such as loan and account balance as well as sensitizing and signing them on other channels such as the ATMs, mobile banking and E-banking applications
  • Comply with operational risk and rigour standards in respect of protecting people, customers, assets and the organisation and provide cover for other team members as required.
  • Ensure compliance with operational risk & rigour requirements e.g. Health and Safety standards, security of premises etc
  • Capturing, swiping and processing of other Banks’ cheques for clearing
  • Capturing of Cheque books requisition
  • CCTV daily monitoring checks, updating cash movement registers, updating branch opening and closing registers,
  • Branch backups and CD change
  • Constantly seek to improve ways of working by challenging the status quo and supporting an empowering climate within the team, sharing knowledge, experience, best practice and providing constructive feedback as required.
  • Participate in local events to support local needs, develop individual and team skills and raise the Barclays profile in the local community.
  • Assisting with the ATM Vault such as its replenishment with cash, daily physical checks, daily servicing and maintenance of the ATM
  • Any other duty that may be assigned from time to time by management

ACHIEVEMENT                    

  • Won ayekoo cards for my Loyalty, Dedication and Commitment to service
  • Generated lots of leads to the loan officers as well as the selling of banc assurance and was conferred the champion of banc assurance products
  • Contributed immensely to the achievement of branch monthly targets
  • Achieved personal goals by obtaining new relationship, retaining and expanding existing relationship
  • Was nominated for the Customer service  personality award for the month of December, 2014.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •  Manually receiving bulk cash and cheques and recording them in cash book daily
  • Performing cash balancing and control activities such as scrutinizing of cheques and other Bank instruments
  • Cross selling of the banks products such as banc assurance, account opening packages and loans to existing customer
  • Maintaining existing and identifying potential customers for the bank
  • Owning customers complaints, resolve those within my control and escalating those above me to the appropriate departments
  • Sorting and rechecking all notes in detail for evacuation to the ATM and Bank of Ghana
  • Shrink-wrapping all passed cash for evacuation to Bank of Ghana.
  • Any other duty that was assigned from time to time by management

                 ELECTORAL COMMISSION OF GHANA LTD, KOFORIDUA BRANCH 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reconciling the voter register with the Voter’s identity card in the main election and
  • Issuing ballot papers to Voters, and educating them on the right way to use the ballot for a successful voting in the runoff.
  • In the 2012 election, I was responsible for issuing ballot papers to voters and identifying voters with indelible ink.


ACHIEVEMENT

  • In all encounters, I executed my task without a blame from the various polling station executives, the general public whom we served and the entire political parties
